WRDS interface changed

As of 1 August the WRDS interface changed. This platform provides financial company statistics via a.o. Compustat, CRSP and I/B/E/S.

The previous interface was no longer maintained which led to databases that lacked the most recent updates. The new interface offers an improved overview and more help in finding the most suitable database.

A disadvantage however is that the new interface is only accessible with a username and password to be created by the user himself. Without a WRDS account access is no longer possible! The account needs to be created on the start page of WRDS via Register for a WRDS account.
