Recently Springer has introduced a new SpringerLink website. The interface, including the search platform, has been completely renewed. Navigation is easier, browsing faster and downloading simpler. On the other hand: some items may not display properly if users don’t have a recent version of their browser.
Some useful new features:
- E-book chapters are presented with the link ‘Look inside’, which provides access not only to the full text of the chapter in question but also to all other chapters of the book.
- A ‘related documents’ list will be generated for every article and e-book chapter that the user selects from the search results page.
- ‘PDF preview’ allows readers to look inside an article or an e-book chapter to be certain they will choose the right one for downloading.
The ‘Search tips’ link on the SpringerLink platform gives access to an extensive help function.
You can find SpringerLink by clicking on ‘Databases a-z’ on the library homepage. For more information, please see the SpringerLink information-file.
A special link to the BSL e-books on SpringerLink is available as well: SpringerLink – direct naar Nederlandstalige e-books van Bohn Stafleu van Loghum
These e-books are in Dutch only.
