‘Harrison’s Principles, Hurst’s The Heart‘ and other books now electronically available!
The availability of a large number of e-Books from McGraw-Hill has inspired the MUMC (FHML/azM) and the University Library to invest in the further transition from a paper library to an electronic one. After purchasing several Dutch-language books from Bohn Stafleu van Loghum, we are pleased to announce that AccessMedicine is now available for use!
Package content
The AccessMedicine package contains 18 clinical textbooks from McGraw-Hill as well as 18 primers and 26 clinical books from Lange Educational Library. Many of the titles are medical primers, such as: Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine; Hurst’s The Heart; Goodman & Gilman’s Pharmacologic Basis of Therapeutics; Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery; Williams Obstetrics, Greenspan’s Basic & Clinical Endocrinology; Basic and Clinical Pharmacology; Basic Histology: Text & Atlas; Principles of Critical Care; Cardiovascular Physiology; Current Surgical Diagnosis and Treatment; and Smith’s General Urology.
