Unattended occupied computers in the library

As of 30 August 2011 computer workstations in the University Library may be left unattended for a maximum period of 30 minutes. After these 30 minutes PCs and TCs will be automatically shut down.
As long as a workstation is not occupied by another user you will be able to log in again on the same workstation.
This procedure can result in losing part of your work. Make sure to regularly save your work!
The Maastricht University implements this decision because of the introduction of the ‘Green IT’ project. Furthermore students have complained about unattended occupied PCs for a long time.
