Exam week: temporary increase of inner city study places

Examinations will take place in the week of Monday 24 to Friday 28 October.
The Inner City Library is a popular study location throughout the academic year, and even more so in the lead-up to the exams. Both the library and the faculties are keen to ensure that all students can find a good place to study during this period.
Where to go?
- Inner City Library
(Grote Looiersstraat 17) has extra long opening hours on:
- Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October: 09.00–24.00
- Monday 24 until Thursday 27 October: 08.30–24.00
- Top level (attic) Kapoenstraat 2
Here, the library offers 30 study places where you can have group discussions or work quietly on your laptop. This room is equipped with power outlets and wireless internet. Opening hours:
- Monday until Friday: 08.30–17.30
- Various faculty buildings in the inner city
are temporarily offering extra study places on weekdays until 22.00 and during the day on Saturday 22 October.
All UM students are welcome to use these faculty buildings, even if your classes took place elsewhere.See the faculty newsletters or reports on EleUM for the exact rooms and opening hours. During the exam period, the reception in the hall of the Inner City Library will keep an overview of these faculty study places on hand. Just ask for this overview if you can’t find a suitable study place in the library.

- Randwyck Library
The Randwyck Libary at Universiteitssingel 50 is open on
- weekdays from 8.30–22.00
- weekends from 12.00–17.00
- on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October Randwyck has extra long opening hours from 09.00–18.00
- Student Desktop Anywhere
Student Desktop Anywhere provides access to the student desktop that you’re used to on the library computers, from the faculty buildings, from home, from your internship location – in short, from any computer with an internet connection. This means you will have access to your J drive, software and other facilities you’re allowed to use on the library computers. You can log in via www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/anywhere. Manuals for using Student Desktop Anywhere are available on the login page.
